Professor Sutton is first and foremost an Ophthalmic Surgeon.

Dr Sutton completed his ophthalmic training In 1993 at the Sydney Eye Hospital where he is now the Senior Staff Specialist in Corneal and Refractive Surgery. In 1996 he completed advanced surgical training at St Thomas’ and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany.

He concentrates his time and energy on laser vision correction, intraocular lens & corneal surgery, practicing out of Laser Eye Surgery Chatswood, Vision Laser.

Dr Sutton was the Chief Ophthalmologist for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and has had LASIK himself.
