sutton200 About Dr Gerard SuttonProfessor Gerard Sutton is first and foremost an Ophthalmic Surgeon. He is passionate about laser eye surgery and believes that improving people’s vision is a vocation which also provides great joy and satisfaction.

Dr Sutton is currently practicing out of Laser vision in Chatswood.

Dr Sutton concentrates his time and energy on Laser Vision Correction, Intraocular lens & Corneal transplant  Surgery, and  has successfully performed over 10,000 surgical procedures in the following areas:

LASIK and ASLA ( Advanced Surface Laser Ablation, PRK)
Cataract and Intraocular lens surgery (including Phakic IOL and Crystalens)
Keratoconus: Intra corneal ring segments (Intac, Keraring): Collagen Cross Linking
Corneal Transplant: Including DSAEK, DALK

The First Surgeon to successfully utilize an Artifical Cornea in NSW

Established and now supervises the first university degree for Refractive Vision Correction Surgery Training in the world
